Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)

Andrew Howard is the latest addition to the cast of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., landing a major recurring role. He will play Banks, an authoritative and intimidating agent on the third season of the series

Limitless (CBS)

Colin Salmon has landed a major, season-long recurring role in CBS’ upcoming sci-fi drama Limitless

Salmon will play Jared Sands, a former intelligence officer who now works as a fixer for Mora (Bradley Cooper). He keeps tabs on Finch, making sure the man is doing exactly what Mora asks.

The Bastard Executioner (FX)

Ed Sheeran has joined creator Kurt Sutter’s blood-soaked FX drama “The Bastard Executioner” in a recurring role. He’ll play an ambitious, potentially lethal character who is being groomed by a high-ranking church elder.

Nashville (ABC)

Riley Smith…joins the upcoming cast of “Nashville” as Markus Keen, a musician who soon gets too big for his britches after he signs with Rayna’s (Connie Britton) fledgling Highway 65 label.

Chicago Fire (NBC)

Brian White has been cast in a major recurring role on Season 4 of NBC firefighter drama Chicago Fire. He will play Captain Dallas Patterson, the new captain of the squad on the series

Badsville

Emilio Rivera of Sons of Anarchy and Robert Knepper of Prison Break have joined the cast of Badsville…It’s the debut screenplay for cowriters Ian McLaren and Benjamin Barrett, who also costar in the film. Along with Rivera and Knepper, it stars Tamara Duarte (Hard Rock Medical), Rene Rosado (Star Trek Into Darkness), Octavio Pizano (If Loving You is Wrong), Paul James Jordan (Piranha 3DD), Chelsea Rendon (McFarland USA), and Gregory Kasyan (Arms and the Dudes). Ian McLaren and Benjamin Barrett appear as “Wink” and “Benny” respectively.

Meet Dr. Mindy Lahiri’s (temporary) replacement…Garret Dillahunt is returning to comedy with a major recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of The Mindy Project…He will play Jody, a new doctor who replaces Mindy while she goes on maternity leave. She will play Sister Mary, a nun from America living in Vatican City.

Paradise Pictures (USA)

Georgina Reilly (L.A. Complex), Daren Kagasoff (The Secret Life Of An American Teenager) and Matthew Del Negro (Scandal) have signed on to star in USA’s Old Hollywood pilot Paradise Pictures

Reilly will play Gretchen Whalon, Matthew Del Negroa successful screenwriter at rival film studio RKO Pictures and ex-girlfriend of the head of production at Paradise Pictures, Tom Kirby (Morgan Spector). Their complicated relationship resurfaces when he asks her to rewrite the script for his dream project. Del Negro plays Ray Aberdeen, the head of security at Paradise Pictures, and Kirby’s right-hand man. Being the studio “fixer” requires Aberdeen to clean up messes, cover up scandals and mete out justice to contract players who have crossed the line. Kagasoff is Wyatt Osborne, an assistant in the studio’s editing department whose real goal is to be a director. A dreamer and a schemer, when he learns the studio’s highest paid screenwriter is writing a novel instead of the studio’s next project, Wyatt writes his own draft and presents it to Kirby.

Secrets & Lies (ABC)

Terry O’Quinn is set to co-star opposite Michael Ealy and Juliette Lewis on the second season of ABC’s anthology crime drama series Secrets & Lies

O’Quinn will play Eric’s father, John Warner, a charming and lovable finance magnate and the adoring father of three children. He built his Charlotte private equity firm on a model of honesty and morality and has achieved great success. Now, ready to retire, he’s passing the reins on to his heir apparent and eldest son, Eric (Ealy). However, when the party celebrating Eric’s promotion results in the murder of his wife Kate, John’s plans are abruptly put on hold, as he attempts to lead his family and his company through this shocking tragedy.

Thirteen (BBC)

BBC Three’s five-part drama, Thirteen, has set Jodie Comer (My Mad Fat Diary) as the lead in the series…She’ll play Ivy Moxam, a 26-year-old woman who escapes from the cellar that’s been her prison for the last 13 years. Returning home to her family and to her life, this is only the beginning of the story. Also starring are Aneurin Barnard (War And Peace), Richard Rankin (From Darkness), Valene Kane (The Fall), Natasha Little (Wolf Hall), Stuart Graham (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Joe Layton (Tatau), Katherine Rose Morley (Last Tango In Halifax), Eleanor Wyld (Misfits), Ariyon Bakare (Jonathan Strange And Mr Norrell) and Nicholas Farrell (Chariots Of Fire). Marnie Dickens (Ripper Street, Law & Order: UK) wrote the psychological drama…Thirteen will be directed by Vanessa Caswill (My Mad Fat Diary) and China Moo-Young (Humans)
