Arrow, The Good Wife, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and other TV productions have made recent TV show casting, TV movie casting, and TV directing news. These shows and movies air on The CW, CBS, and ABC.

Enver Gjokaj is set to co-star opposite Hayley Atwell in Marvel’s Agent Carter…Gjokaj will play the sweet and honorable Agent Daniel Sousa, a true war hero who has risked his life many times – resulting once in a crippling leg injury.

Marvel’s upcoming ABC series “Agent Carter,” starring Haley Atwell as Peggy Carter, has added Chad Michael Murray (“One Tree Hill,” “Fruitvale Station”) as Strategic Scientific Reserve agent Jack Thompson

Proof (TNT)

David Sutcliffe has booked a series regular role on TNT’s Proof…It centers on Dr. Carolyn Tyler (Jennifer Beals), a skeptical, hard-science, brilliant female surgeon who  is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, and hauntings. Sutcliffe…will play Dr. Len Bayliss, Dr. Tyler’s ex-husband who still works with her at the hospital.

Narcos (Netflix)

Roberto Urbina has joined the cast of Netflix’s drama series Narcos as a series regular. Written by Chris Brancato and directed by Jose Padilha…Urbina…will play Fabio Ochoa, one of a trio of Colombian brothers, all playboy drug dealers, who’s in the cocaine business with his brothers.

Luke Kleintank has been cast in Amazon pilot The Man In The High Castle from X-Files alum Frank Spotnitz and Scott Free…Kleintank…will play Joe Blake, an all-American guy living in New York who has joined the clandestine American Resistance.

The Good Wife (CBS)

David Hyde Pierce (Frasier, Curtains) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming sixth season of CBS’ The Good Wife. Pierce will play a highly respected cable news legal commentator who is so disgusted by the corruption and murder rate in Chicago that he decides to run for office in order to effect change.

Arrow (The CW)

Rila Fukushima…will play Tatsu Yamashiro, a character that first appeared in the Green Arrow origin series graphic novels published by DC Comics. She is a Japanese martial arts expert who wields a deadly sword, a blade from which her codename Katana is derived. In Arrow, Tatsu will be one of Oliver’s mentors in the flashbacks and a critical influence on his journey to eventually become The Arrow of present day.

“Supernatural” actress Amy Gumenick will play DC Comics villainess Cupid, while “Glee” star Nolan Funk has been cast as the ex-boyfriend of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards.)

Cupid begins her arc as an obsessive fan of “The Arrow” (Stephen Amell), but she eventually devolves into a nemesis of the Starling City protector.

Funk…will appear in the fifth episode of the new season, a Felicity-centric episode that will see flashbacks to her college days. Funk will play Cooper Seldon, her hacker ex-boyfriend. Funk is known for his roles on “Awkward” and “Glee.”

Point Of Honor (Amazon)

Riley Voelkel (The Newsroom) has been cast as one of the leads in Point Of Honor…Voekel…will play John sister Lorelei who is married to Robert…Also cast in the pilot is Patrick Heusinger as Colonel Palmer Kane.

Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family)

Miranda Mayo (The Game) has been cast in a recurring role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars…Mayo will play Talia, a chef, who is new to Rosewood. Talia gets off on the wrong foot with Emily (Shay Mitchell) and things go down hill from there.

Selfie (ABC)

Samm Levine has booked a recurring role opposite Karen Gillan and John Cho in ABC/Warner Bros TV single-camera comedy Selfie. Written by Emily Kapnek and directed by Julie Anne Robinson…Levine will play Terrance, a low level office employee, who also just so happens to be the new son-in-law of the company’s president, Sam Saperstein (David Harewood).

The Greatest American Hero (Fox)

Fox…has given a put pilot commitment to The Greatest American Hero, a new take on the 1981 sci-fi dramedy, which is being shepherded by [directors] Phil Lord and Chris Miller, directors of the successful feature franchise based on another classic TV series by Cannell, 21 Jump Street. Lord and Miller will executive produce the hourlong action comedy alongside Cannell’s daughter, television director Tawnia McKiernan. Written/exec produced by Rodney Rothman

Modern Family (ABC)

Andrea Anders has been cast in a recurring role on season 6 of ABC’s “Modern Family,” playing wife to “Treme”‘s Steve Zahn and part of a horrible family who move in next door to the Dunphy family, played by Julie Bowen, Ty Burell, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter and Nolan Gould.
