Paul Reiser [and Jennifer Grey have] been cast in Amazon Studios’ comedy pilot Red Oaks, exec produced by Steven Soderbergh and exec produced/directed by David Gordon Green…Reiser…plays Getty, the wealthy and incredibly snobbish president of [the predominantly Jewish Red Oaks country club in New Jersey]’s board. Set in summer 1985, Red Oaks centers on 20-year-old David Myers, who takes a job as an assistant tennis pro…Grey will play David’s mother and Sam’s (Richard Kind) wife. She’s relieved to see that her husband’s heart attack wasn’t fatal and she and Sam seem like a perfectly normal, reasonably content married couple despite her sexuality possibly being in question.

Homeland (Showtime)

Raza Jaffrey has joined Showtime drama Homeland in a major recurring role for the upcoming fourth season, which is set in the Middle East. He will play Aasar Khan, a decorated Lieutenant Colonel working for Pakistan’s ISI intelligence service.

The Returned (A&E)

Michelle Forbes has joined the cast of A&E Network’s “The Returned.”…Forbes will play Helen Goddard, a mysterious woman who is one of the returnees…Jeremy Sisto, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Mark Pellegrino and Kevin Alejandro are also set to star.

Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce (Bravo)

Patrick Heusinger [has] a major recurring role on Bravo’s first original scripted series Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce. It centers on Abby (Lisa Edelstein), a self-help book author who hides the fact that she’s separated from her husband as she starts to navigate her life as a single woman in her early 40s in Los Angeles. Heusinger…will play Max, Abby’s brother and best friend.

Tyrant (FX)

Wrenn Schmid…has joined FX’s new drama series Tyrant…It tells the story of an unassuming American family — Bassam “Barry” Al Fayeed (Adam Rayner), his American wife Molly (Jennifer Finnigan) and children — drawn into the workings of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation. Schmidt will recur as Molly’s younger sister, Jenna.

DIG (USA)

Joining USA Network’s six episode event series DIG…is Angela Bettis. It centers on an FBI agent (Jason Isaacs) stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a murder of a woman archaeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making. Working alongside Debbie (Lauren Ambrose), Faye (Bettis) is another devout follower of evangelist Ted Billingham (David Costabile).
