Untitled Sarah Silverman comedy pilot (HBO)

Charlie McDowell…will make his TV helming debut with HBO’s untitled Sarah Silverman comedy pilot. Written by…Lucy Prebble, the project is described as a comic look at a pathologically honest woman having a modern midlife crisis.

Detour (Fox)

Jeremy Garelick also is making a TV directing debut with Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot Detour…Written…Steve Franks inspired by the real-life story of Weezer lead singer Rivers Cuomo, the project centers on a rock star who made the unexpected choice at age 30 to quit his band and go back to college.

Zach Gilford has been cast in ABC’s untitled drama pilot…It follows the return of a politician’s young son, Adam Warren, who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier. But as the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his community, the neighbor sitting in jail for his murder is released and the cop responsible is forced to re-examine what truly happened so many years ago. Gilford…will play Adam’s self-destructive older brother.

Chev & Bev (ABC)

Ed Oxenbould…has been cast in ABC’s single-camera comedy pilot Chev & Bev…Oxenbould…plays the oldest of the three grandchildren, a nerdy handsome amateur magician.

Warrior (NBC)

[Philip Noyce] has cast [Lance Gross] in the pilot he is directing for NBC this year, martial arts drama Warrior. Also cast in the project…is Andy Allo. Set in a grounded, contemporary multicultural and sometimes magical milieu, Warrior, from Universal TV, centers on Kai Forrester (Natalie Martinez), a damaged heroine who works undercover with physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master to bring down organized crime syndicate YOMI. Gross…plays Agent Golden, an Interpol agent and former Navy SEAL who gives Kai the news that she is their best shot at getting an agent inside the triad. Allo plays the daughter of YOMI’s New York boss.

Love Is A Four Letter Word (NBC)

Nadine Velazquez has landed a lead role on NBC drama pilot Love Is A Four Letter Word, from playwright-TV writer Diana Son…Velazquez will play Rebecca, a Cuban American who is deeply in love with Julie and very happy with their marriage, but doesn’t realize her wife is actively considering getting back together with her ex, Nick.

Cynthia McWilliams…has landed a co-starring role on NBC drama pilot Love Is A Four Letter Word…McWilliams…will play Tandi, one half of a happy couple with a young son who is experiencing difficulties fulfilling her dream of having another child.

Tommy Dewey (The Mindy Project) has landed the male lead opposite Michaela Watkins in Hulu’s single-camera comedy series Casual, executive produced by Jason Reitman who will direct the opening episode.

Written by up-and-coming scribe Zander Lehmann, Casual follows the story of a dysfunctional family with a bachelor brother, Alex Cole (Dewey), and his newly divorced sister, therapist Valerie Cole (Watkins). The creator of a popular dating website, Alex uses it to match himself with a never-ending string of good-looking women, whom he sleeps with to try and mask his depression and feelings of loneliness. As Valerie rejoins the world of casual dating, Alex pledges to mentor her and help her embrace her single life, while he simultaneously struggles to find meaning in his own.

Chicago Med (NBC)

S. Epatha Merkerson…is set for a lead role on the proposed spinoff in Wolf’s latest procedural franchise, Chicago Fire…Merkerson will play Sharon Goodwin, the head of the hospital where the show is set. Although she doesn’t love the politics that go into running a hospital and doesn’t suffer fools, she is damn good at keeping the doors open.

Minority Report (Fox)

Fox pilot Minority Report has recruited a cast member from the Steven Spielberg-directed movie to reprise his role in the series adaptation. Daniel London has been cast in the pilot, along with Li Jun Li.

London plays Wally the Caretaker, the gawky caretaker at the Precrime Temple where the children were observed. A decade later, he is eager to help Vega and is assisting Dash in establishing a new identity. Li plays Akeela, a Crime Scene Investigation technician who works closely with Vega.

Mark Mylod is directing the pilot from a script by Max Borenstein.

Family Fortune (ABC)

Annie Potts and John Carroll Lynch are set to co-star opposite Fortune Feimster in ABC’s multi-camera comedy pilot Family Fortune…Written by Hubbard and Feimster…Family Fortune is set in North Carolina and centers on popular gym teacher Fortune (Feimster) who comes out of the closet to her close-knit group of family and friends. Potts will play her fun-loving, needy and sometimes egoistical mother. Lynch would play Fortune’s taciturn and tough father.

Chicago Fire (NBC)

Warren Christie is joining the cast of the NBC firefighter drama as a recurring with an option to become a regular next season. He will play a new firefighter on the squad who is a childhood friend of Lt Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney).

Nashville (ABC)

Christina Aguilera has joined the cast of ABC’s “Nashville”

[Aguilera] is joining the Music City-set drama for a three-episode arc to play Jade St. John, a mainstream pop star who travels to Nashville with the hopes of making a splash in the country music world.

Untitled Dana Klein comedy pilot (Fox)

Matt Letscher (Boardwalk Empire, Scandal) will co-star opposite Jenna Elfman in Fox’s untitled Dana Klein comedy pilot…Written by Klein and directed by Pam Fryman, it is told from the point of view of Ellen (Elfman), a working mom who is in constant competition with her perfect, stay-at-home sister-in-law. Letscher…plays Ellen’s husband, an intelligent, responsible professor of ethics with a very strong sense of right and wrong who plans ahead and over-thinks everything.

Super Clyde (CBS)

Charlie McDermott has been cast as the lead in Greg Garcia’s CBS comedy pilot Super Clyde, from CBS TV Studios. He will play the title character, a meek, unassuming fast-food worker who finds his calling.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)

Adrianne Palicki will be working full-time on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the series regular role of HYDRA operative Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird…Her character was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and the ex-wife to Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) during a six-episode story. Palicki’s Morse returns for the mid-season 2 premiere on March 3. Titled “Aftershocks” the episode follows Palicki’s Bobbi and Henry Simmons’s Mack plotting against Coulson and his team.
