Unsane Trailer

Steven Soderbergh‘s Unsane (2018) movie trailer stars Claire Foy, Joshua Leonard, Jay Pharoah, Juno Temple, and Aimee Mullins. Unsane‘s plot synopsis: “A young woman is involuntarily committed to a mental institution where she is confronted by her greatest fear–but is it real or is it a product of her delusion?”

Steven Soderbergh is a very experimental director. First he shot a escort film with a working adult star (The Girlfriend Experience). Then he hired a MMA fighter for his action/espionage film (Haywire). Now he has shot an entire film on an iPhone. And you know what? Unsane actually looks intriguing…at the story does.

When Apple heard about Soderbergh’s intention, they must have been overjoyed. The film looks good but the film doesn’t look good.

Unsane also stars Amy Irving, Laura Rothschild, Polly McKie, Michael Mihm, Gibson Frazier, Ursula Triplett, Sarah Stiles, and Colin Woodell.
