In this video review, I talk about the new political drama film Executive Order. This film is a part of my coverage of the 2021 South By Southwest Film Festival. I wish I knew more about Brazil and the relationship between the government and its citizens. The concept of this movie is extremely frightening, but I’m not sure about the plausibility of these laws in modern times. However, it is a very engaging political drama. Check out all of my thoughts in the video movie review below.

Executive Order Synopsis

Executive Order‘s plot synopsis: “In a dystopian near future in Brazil, an authoritarian government orders all citizens of African descent to move to Africa – creating chaos, protests, and an underground resistance movement that inspires the nation.”
