Californication: Season 6, Episode 1: The Unforgiven‘s plot synopsis: “Hank wakes up in a hospital after accidentally being drug overdosed in a drink by Carrie (Natalie Zea), the New York ex-girlfriend, then starts experiencing being haunted by her in his dreams.

Becca announces to Hank that she broke up with Tyler who also expresses interest in dropping out from school to pursue a career being a writer and brings concern to Hank and Karen. Hank accompanies Charlie to a meeting with rock musician Atticus Fetch (Tim Minchin) who expresses interest in creating a Broadway musical that is based on a novel from Hank. After an intervention from Karen, Becca, Charlie, and Marcy due to concern of his behavior and past experiences, Hank decides to enroll in a rehabilitation center.”
