Plot Synopsis

Watchmen‘s plot synopsis: based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, “From Damon Lindelof and set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, this drama series embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.”

Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Andrew Howard, Yahya Abdul-Matteen II, Sara Vickers, James Wolk, Dustin Ingram, Hong Chau, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith, and Adelynn Spoon.

Nicole Kassell directed the pilot episode and Damon Lindelof wrote the screenplays for the TV series.
