Wonder Woman 1984 and Wonder Woman  Action Scene Comparison Video

David Chen has created a video that compares the action sequences of Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) and Wonder Woman (2017). The actions sequences in Wonder Woman 1984, besides the opening race, are far more cartoon-ish than the action sequences in Wonder Woman. Anyone that watches Wonder Woman 1984 sees how silly that film is but this video illustrates the film’s downgraded action sequences.

There is so much sliding and wire-work in Wonder Woman 1984 in combat sequence that is unnecessary and forced. The viewer asks themselves a simple question when watching a Wonder Woman 1984 action scene: was she really trained to do this in her various Amazon fighting academies? From the very training they show the viewer in the first film, the answer is no.
