WONDER WOMAN (2017): Gal Gadot Battles in 1st Film Footage

Gsl Gadot Sword Shield Wonder Woman

First Wonder Woman Footage Released. During The CW‘s TV special DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League, the first film footage for Wonder Woman was shown. The film footage shows the main character Diana Price / Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), thankfully, is in most of the footage. The viewer sees Wonder Woman in various forest shots as well as scenes from the World War I era in which this film is based.

Chris Pine shows up in some of those scenes and also speaks about the film. Wonder Woman‘s executive producer Geoff Johns mentioned in the video that he believes Wonder Woman to best fighter in the DC Universe because she has been trained since birth to fight. Even with that training in place, I would still choose Batman to be the winner if the two of them ever fought. Batman is a thinker and a fighter. He would figure out a way to beat her, like he figured out how to beat a certain alien on Earth.

Like with most films that involve fight scenes, I would like to see the R-rated version. Though Wonder Woman’s fight scenes seem stylish, I don’t believe they will have the carnal brutality of Deadpool‘s fisticuffs. Wonder Woman looks very safe and I wouldn’t have expected anything less.

Patty JenkinsWonder Woman also stars Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Ewen Bremner, Danny Huston, Saïd Taghmaoui, Bern Collaco, Dino Fazzani, Elena Valdameri, James Rumell, and David Terry.
