Associate Producer

1. a associate producer can act as a representative of the producer, duties delegated to them by the producer, or someone that is co-producing a film. An associate producer is usually someone who has played a significant part in the creative process.

2. a person who would qualify as an executive producer of a project, but for the fact that (s)he acts on behalf of a production company which is subordinate to another one on that project.
