X (2011) Teaser Trailer: Jon Hewitt, Hanna Mangan Lawrence, Viva Bianca

The X Teaser Trailer has premiered. Jon Hewitt‘s X stars Hanna Mangan Lawrence, Viva Bianca, Belinda McClory, and Freya Tingley. X (2011)’s plot synopsis: “Holly Rowe’s retiring, kissing her callgirl life goodbye. She just has to get through her last night on the job. Shay Ryan’s a teenage runaway, broke and alone. She just has to get through her first night as a hooker. Then fate throws them together on a job that goes horribly wrong and they’re suddenly racing on an out-of-control roller coaster ride, through Sydney’s criminal underworld. X is a sizzling thriller about love, chance, escape and the oldest profession experienced by two women on a night that will change their lives forever.”

When I first watched this teaser trailer, I immediately thought of Slovenian Girl,  Enter the Void, Trainspotting, and even a little of Vengeance (a certain section of the film at the beginning). There are elements of all of those films in this one. The “business” aspects of this teaser trailer are not unlike Diary of a Call Girl and a few HBO specials on hookers from years back. Glad to see Viva Bianca getting noticed and landing leading roles.
