Watching this trailer, I felt nothing. I got chills watching the Captain Marvel trailer and watched that trailer numerous times. With the X-Men: Dark Phoenix trailer, there is no reason for me to watch it again. The X-Men films have gotten too safe, too homogenized, too paint-by-numbers. I wish Bryan Singer directed this film and that Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris, and David Hayter wrote it. Their un-filmed ideas for their third X-Men film still intrigue me to this day.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix also stars Michael Fassbender, Jessica Chastain, Evan Peters, Summer Fontana, Scott Shepherd, Ato Essandoh, Daniel Cudmore, and Evan Jonigkeit.
