AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR – PART I (2018): Krysten Ritter Talks About Possibility Of Appearing

Krysten Ritter

Krysten Ritter talks about Avengers: Infinity War – Part I. The Jessica Jones star discussed the chances of her Marvel character appearing on the big screen.

Any potential appearance in Infinity War will be a major milestone, as it will tie the Marvel Cinematic Universe directly with the Netflix series Ritter stars in. Even a short cameo by her in the film will establish that Jessica Jones inhabits the same world as the Avengers, something that will open the way for future tie-ins between the two franchises.

It also raises the question of how Ritter’s character would be integrated into the movie’s story. Her involvement is far from certain, but the Big Eyes actress expressed delight at the mere thought of working in the Marvel movies. She also said she was particularly interested in “team[ing] up” with Iron Man, who has been consistently portrayed by Robert Downey, Jr.

“It’s so rad! I’m so fortunate to get to play this amazing character and have this giant built-in fanbase that comes with Marvel. I’ve never done anything in this genre before so it’s been completely life changing. I’ve never been to comic con before! This is a whole new ball game for me. It would be really awesome to team up with Iron Man. That’s an interesting question because I love Jessica and I love any opportunity to play her. Obviously, it’d be really exciting to be a part of those giant, huge movies with those great characters who are already established, so it’d be awesome.
