Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Moves Shooting to Chicago. As production continues on the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the location will soon be moving to its new home from Detroit to the windy city of Chicago.

During the month of November, the upcoming superhero team-up will move production to Chicago, according to Fox 32 Chicago. The Windy City will double as the fictional cities of Metropolis and Gotham as certain parts of the city will resemble Superman and Batman’s home turf. The Caped Crusader himself will also be shooting his scenes over there as well. Production will take between four to five days shooting downtown Chicago followed by a week and a half in other parts of the area.

Chicago isn’t the first time for the city to transform into Gotham for a Batman flick. During Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, production also took place in the Windy City for the first two films.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Scoot McNairy, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Tj Norris, and Ray Fisher.
