Box Office: July 24-26, 2009

The children rule the box office yet again. G-Force premiered in the Number One spot this weekend with $32.1 Million. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was Second with $30 Million for a total of $221.8 Million so far. The Ugly Truth premiered in Third Place with $27 Million. Orphan premiered in Fourth Place with $12.7 Million. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs was Fifth with $8.2 Million for a total of $171.2 Million so far. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Hangover, The Proposal, Public Enemies and Bruno rounded out the top respectively.

    I knew one of those two films would be #1 this weekend.

    Plus Harry was released mid week which is why its Friday, Sat and Sun numbers were weaker than normal.
