Box Office: Oct. 9-11, 2009

Couples love to go to the movies. Couples Retreat premiered in the Number One spot at the box office this weekend with $35.3 Million. Zombieland was Second with $15 Million. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was Third with $12 Million for a total of $96.2 Million so far. Toy Story / Toy Story 2 (3D) was Third with $7.6 Million. Paranormal Activity, with a 1,227.6 positive change and an additional 127 theaters, was Fifth with a little over $7 Million. Surrogates, The Invention of Lying, Whip It, Capitalism, A Love Story, and Fame (2009) rounded out the top ten respectively.
