FLCL: Season 2 and 3 Trailer

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim and Production I.G. officially released the first teaser trailer for both season 2 and 3 of FLCL, or as fans would say, Fooly Cooly. The trailer doesn’t reveal anything in detail, but rather just small snippets of the characters that will return for the new seasons.

Adult Swim released the details of the plot of what’s to come in the series:

“Meanwhile, the war between the two entities known as Medical Mechanica and Fraternity rages across the galaxy. Enter Hidomi, a young teenaged girl who believes there is nothing amazing to expect from her average life, until one day when a new teacher named Haruko arrives at her school. Soon enough, Medical Mechanica is attacking her town and Hidomi discovers a secret within her that could save everyone, a secret that only Haruko can unlock.

But why did Haruko return to Earth?

What happened to her Rickenbacker 4001 she left with Naota?

And where did the human-type robot ‘Canti’ go?”

In the first season, the English dub of FLCL starred Barbara Goodson, Steve Blum, Melissa Fahn, R. Martin Klein and Kari Wahlgren. There are no confirmations if these actors will reprise their roles for the upcoming seasons.
