Ghostbusters Movie Image Released. We’ve been tracking the production of the Ghostbusters reboot for quite some time now. The last time we released an image of the new gang together was in July, when the new cast – comprised of Melissa McCarthyKristen WiigKate McKinnon and Leslie Jones – was dressed in overalls and was snapped by paparazzi. Take a look at that image here. Today, however, we have a more official movie image to show you. This one was clearly approved by the studio, and, well, there isn’t too much to say about it. The new cast, here they are.

According to Slashfilm, “The proton packs they have on seem to be the first ones that director Paul Feig unveiled to everyone by way of Twitter, while production was still underway. But remember that there is a second round of proton packs that we glimpsed when the cast went to visit a children’s hospital earlier this year. The neutrino wands were very different from the ones we see here, so it’ll be interesting to see how the technology for the crew develops in the movie.”

Ghostbusters will star Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Chris Hemsworth, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Mark Burzenski. Ghostbusters will be released on July 22, 2016.
