GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) Movie Image: Brand New Cast, Same Old Outfits.

Ghostbusters Costumes Revealed

The Ghostbusters Outfits For Paul Feig’s Remake Have Been Released. There’s something strange in the neighborhood. It’s a remake of the beloved, classic, American cult comedy-adventure Ghostbusters from 1984 by legendary director Ivan Reitman. How this is so casually and acceptably happening, I don’t know.

Paul Feig is a talented man. He has directed episodes of Freaks & Geeks, Undeclared, Mad Men, The Office (US), and made the wonderful Kristen Wiig comedy, Bridesmaids. He’s a good man. I suppose if anyone is remaking Ghostbusters, he’s of the right caliber to do so. There is just a very simple hesitance in my heart, here, regarding “a fresh new take” on this classic. Can’t anything be left alone? Can’t we just revisit these films when we feel the urge for their sensibilities, instead of remaking them with new cameras and actors to feel like we’re watching something new? I guess not.

Marco Margaritoff

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
