Inferno Trailer

Ron Howard‘s Inferno (2016) teaser trailer stars Felicity Jones, Tom Hanks, Ben Foster, Irrfan Khan, and Omar Sy. Inferno‘s plot synopsis: “Academy Award® winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.”

Great opening monologue in this trailer coupled with its implications for humanity. I enjoyed the books in the series far more film adaptations, which have been problematic, but they are interesting and money-makers so I can see why they continue to be made.

I am looking forward to how Robert Langdon and Sienna Brooks’ doctor / patient relationship evolves.

Inferno also stars Sidse Babett Knudsen, Ana Ularu, Ida Darvish, Wolfgang Stegemann, Kata Sarbó, Xavier Laurent, Jon Donahue, Björn Freiberg, and Christian Stelluti.
