Monsters (2010) Movie Trailer

The Monsters Movie Trailer has premiered. Monsters (2010) is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Whitney Able and Scoot McNairy. Monsters (2010)’s plot synopsis: “Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.” This looks good.  Monsters reminds me of Cloverfield and The Myst with a little bit of District 9 thrown in. I especially like that the “monsters” are kept off screen, its the invasion and its fallout that are the main storyline in the film. The fact that our satellite crashes back to earth having more than completed its mission (find alien life) was good, with shades of the book Battlefield: Earth. If you have read the book you know what I am talking about. Magnolia Pictures’ genre arm Magnet will release the movie in New York and Los Angeles on October 29, 2010.
