Everyone seems to be in on what is happening at Jennifer Lawrence’s home in Mother! but Jennifer Lawrence. There have been early comparisons to Rosemary’s Baby regarding this film. Those comparisons may be accurate but I believe there is also some Kill List mixed in there as well towards, what looks like, the end of the film.

With the cast that this film has attracted, I am guessing the script is something special. After the critical success of Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan, everyone trusts Darren Aronofsky to deliver something compelling.

I have been waiting years for a new Aronofsky film. It looks as though the wait was well-worth it.

Mother! also stars Brian Gleeson, Stephen McHattie, Kristen Wiig, Stefan Simchowitz, Jovan Adepo, Robert Higden, Amanda Warren, Eric Davis, Marcia Jean Kurtz, and Mizinga Mwinga.
