Sixteen Behind the Scenes Video. A behind-the-scenes film video has been released for Sixteen (2013), a movie directed by Rob Brown and associate produced by Mem Ferda. Sixteen‘s plot synopsis: “Jumah is about to turn sixteen in two days and wants to leave his violent past behind him. Things seem to be better now. He has a tentative relationship building with a girl at a school. But then Jumah witnesses a stabbing and those involved want to ensure that Jumah says nothing to the police about what he saw that night. Pressure mounts as violence forces its way back into Jumah’s life.”

British Actor Mem Ferda is onboard as Associate Producer for award winning Director Rob Brown’s debut feature SIXTEEN.

SIXTEEN is an urban thriller about Jumah, an African former child soldier living in London who is forced to confront his violent past.

Jumah is about to turn sixteen in two days and wants to leave his violent past behind him. Things seem to be better now. He has a tentative relationship building with a girl at a school. But then Jumah witnesses a stabbing and those involved want to ensure that Jumah says nothing to the police about what he saw that night.

Pressure mounts as violence forces its way back into Jumah’s life..
