Supergirl: Luthors Trailer

The CW’s Supergirl Season 2, Episode 12: Luthors TV Show trailer stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, and David Harewood. The Luthors are expected to make a big move during next week’s episode based on the trailer we’ve seen here.

In the trailer for next week’s episode ‘Luthors’, we see that Metallo (Frederick Schmidt) has broken out of prison and frees Lillian Luthor (Brenda Strong). This causes suspicion to go towards Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). However, Kara (Melissa Benoist) believes that her friend is innocent and goes out to clear her name. It doesn’t sound like James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) is too happy to know that Kara is looking to help Lena since the Luthors are known to be treacherous. During the trailer, we get a peak at Lex Luthor’s exo-suit as it makes it’s first live-action appearance. It is a good nod to the famous suit that Lex wears when he fought the Man of Steel. Maybe we might see either Lillian or even Lena Luthor wearing the exo-suit to take on Supergirl?

Perhaps we may even see an appearance from Superman’s arch nemesis himself soon? We haven’t heard anyone taking on the role, but it is a possibility that we may see Lex Luthor make his debut on the show. For now, we’ll be hearing his name in passing. Will Lena follow in her famous brother’s footsteps?
