Supergirl: Star-Crossed Trailer

The CW’s Supergirl Season 2, Episode 16: Star-Crossed TV Show trailer stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, and David Harewood. The truth about Mon-El (Chris Wood) may just about to be uncovered when the show returns in two weeks.

Before Kara faces off against the Music Meister in the upcoming musical crossover with The Flash, she will have to deal with some unexpected visitors. In the episode ‘Star-Crossed’, Kara (Melissa Benoist) must deal with the arrivals of two new villains, played by Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo. These two aliens seem to share a past with Mon-El, which suggest that Kara’s new love may actually turn out to be the Prince of Daxam. Maybe Hatcher and Sorbo’s characters could be the parents of Mon-El based on the promo. If this is true, why did Mon-El hide the truth from Kara? We will find out once the show returns in two weeks. Plus, since Dean Cain appeared on this show, it would be cool to stage a Lois & Clark reunion between him and Teri Hatcher. It might not happen, but one could hope.

Based on the trailer, we may be getting some flashbacks of Daxam as well. It would certainly give us the whole story of what went down on that planet during Krypton’s destruction and shed some light on Mon-El’s background. What do you guys think will happen?
