The Girlfriend Experience Movie Trailers

the-girlfriend-experience-trailers

The Girlfriend Experience Teaser Trailer and The Girlfriend Experience Trailer 1 have been released and heralded a look into the escort industry and the main stream debut of Sasha Grey. Fans of Belle, her diaries and her television show are already familiar with the subject matter presented in the trailers. The Girlfriend Experience Trailer 1 (TrailerAddict), in my opinion, is vastly superior to the The Girlfriend Experience Teaser Trailer (Hulu). Check them both out below and be sure to leave your thoughts on them below.

Oddly, Sasha Grey could pass for a mainstream indie actress if you haven’t seen her previous “work”. I mean she’s not all siliconed out and not a blonde.

    But can she act?

    I’m thinking….ehhhh.

She seems to do fine in the trailers. Lets wait and see.

Pietrobruno’s GFE: GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE is out on DVD. “As a filmmaker, I simply wanted to reveal what is hidden – the john”. Movies often portray sex-workers, but their customers remain well hidden – faceless and nameless. Pietrobruno’s GFE: GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE calls attention to this bias, at the same time as it shifts the cinematic gaze onto the client.

The song playing in Pietrobruno’s trailer for GFE: Girlfriend Experience (out on DVD) is Matt Haimovitz’s rendition on cello of Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgNZXStjMxc
