Amy Forsyth has joined the cast of Hulu original drama series The Way…Forsyth will play Ashley Fields, Hawk’s (Kyle Allen) smart, popular classmate who forces him to confront the confines of his own religious upbringing.

Flaked (Netflix)

Lina Esco has landed a heavily recurring role on Will Arnett’s Netflix comedy series Flaked…Esco plays Kara, Chip (Will Arnett)’s current girlfriend. She’s currently going through her first year of sobriety, but is not receiving the support from Chip she needs.

Urban Cowboy (Fox)

Jim Belushi has been cast opposite Alfonso Herrera in Fox’s drama pilot Urban Cowboy

the TV adaptation [will be] written/directed by Craig Brewer

The project follows star-crossed young lovers Kyle aka Juan Miguel (Herrera) and Gaby as they pursue their dreams and passions through the sweat of line dancing in honky tonks, the grime of the oil refineries and the glamour of modern Texas. Belushi will play Marshall Stoval, a spirited long haul truck driver turned honky tonk bar owner, who is as much of a Houston institution as his bar Gilley’s.

Graves (Epix)

Skylar Astin, Chris Lowell and Angélica María have been cast in the series

In the 10-episode series, Astin will play Isaiah Miller, assistant to Nick Nolte‘s Richard Graves, former U.S. President. Lowell will portray the president’s son Jeremy, and María will play Ramona Alvarez, the family’s housekeeper. They join Nolte and the previously announced Susan Sarandon, who plays the former First Lady.

Series creator Joshua Michael Stern (“Swing Vote”) will write…He will also direct select episodes.

Luke Cage (Netflix)

“Luke Cage” has added “Sons of Anarchy” actor Theo Rossi in a series regular role.

Details of his character are being kept under wraps, but he will likely play an adversary to the show’s titular superhero.

“Luke Cage” will also see Rosario Dawson reprising her role as Claire Temple, which she originated on “Daredevil.” Her character is expected to appear throughout the Marvel/Netflix interconnected universe.

Simone Missick has landed the younger female lead…She will play what is listed on the breakdown as Missy, a woman with a strong sense of justice. I hear the actual character is Marvel’s Misty Knight, a former NYPD officer who gets a new bionic arm by Tony Stark after losing hers in the line of duty. She eventually launches a detective agency, helping Cage.
