VOTD: Taylor Swift Rap Video: Thug Story

Country singer Taylor Swift did a rap video spoof at The Country Music Awards 2009 with rapper T-Pain entitled Thug Story. I love the large platinum chain T-Pain is wearing: “Big Ass Chain”. An amusing parody of a rap video but also a commentary on what some of them come down to these days. The deceased rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard said it best when he commented on rap videos he had seen some of his fellow rappers in. Its a very famous quote that people say all over the place now. It’s even showed up in Gone Baby Gone. Howard Stern actually played the entire interview with the quote at the end of it so that it was in context (and much funnier). If you know the quote I am alluding to, you realize why I am not printing it. Regarding Swift’s rap video, the grill Taylor sports is cool as well. It reminds me of when Kendra did the same during one of her birthday parties on The Girls Next Door. Check out the video below. Be warned though: If you are expecting a great rap video, look elsewhere.
