Wonder Woman International Trailer 2

Warner Bros. has released a new international movie trailer for Wonder Woman (2017). I actually prefer this trailer to the first international trailer and the first U.S. trailer for this superhero film. This trailer is in Russian so all of the new dialogue and what could be gleamed from it is lost on the American viewer. What isn’t lost on the viewer are the new drama and action sequences in the trailer.

The trailer emphasizes Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot)’s speed, the use of her gauntlets, and also what is at stake for the people of Themyscira, the United States, and Europe.

This international trailer also shows Wonder Woman stealing or “appropriating” the sword of Athena, publicized a few weeks ago.

Wonder Woman‘s plot synopsis: “Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”

Patty JenkinsWonder Woman also stars David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Bern Collaco, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Dino Fazzani, Elena Valdameri, James Rumell, and David Terry.
