AGENTS OF SHIELD: Show to Tie Into Avengers: Age of Ultron

Avengers Coulson and Thor

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. May Tie into Avengers: Age of Ultron. Certainly not surprising, ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have a tie-in episode in the future for Marvel’s upcoming film Avengers: Age of Ultron. The tie-in should work smoothly for the rest of the show’s second season.

Speaking with EW, executive producer Jed Whedon first broke the news after talking about where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would go for the remainder of the second season. “You should expect something,” Jed Whedon told the outlet. “The Avengers is the big tent that all the franchises play under. Obviously, we’re included in that.”

The series has been doing tie-ins last season for both Thor: The Dark World during one episode and Captain America: The Winter Soldier where the plot caused some ramifications for the rest of the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

“I don’t think any movie has the potential to impact us in the way that Captain America 2 did,” executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen explained, “but there will be connections.”

We should expect some connections before the film releases on May 1, 2015. So how do you guys think Avengers: Age of Ultron will be connected to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?
