Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, fans have made the show one of Netflix’s most popular shows to date. Variety reported that the series was the most binge-watched Netflix series of 2017 based off of data from 7Park Data. According to the research firm, the company found that 54.7% of Iron Fist streamed episodes three and higher during it’s premiere launch. On average, a Netflix show would carry a score of 46.9%. These are some good numbers, considering the negativity that the series has been getting. We are still in 2017, so it’s too soon to see if the show can keep those numbers going.

Nicole Kidman Discusses Her Role in Aquaman

In the upcoming DC Comics adaptation of Aquaman, fans will get the origin story of the underwater savior by exploring his family legacy. This is where his mother Queen Atlanna comes in, who is being played by Nicole Kidman. If you don’t know the story, Atlanna falls for a fisherman and ends up giving birth to Aquaman. We can probably expect a similar origin story for the film. Kidman recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly on the role and what convinced her to join the film:

The reason why I love [Aquaman] is James Wan is an Australian, and I’ve followed his career since he started. He’s a really good friend of mine, and he offered to let me play Queen Atlanna. As soon as he said I could wear mother-of-pearl and be a mermaid warrior, I said I’m done. Please. If there is one thing I have to do in my life, I have to be that. [Laughs] Because, you’ve got to have some fun.

Nicole Kidman is no stranger to superhero movies, as she did appear in Batman Forever. With some serious star power in this film, we have no doubt that this may be one of Nicole Kidman’s memorable roles. What do you guys think? Aquaman is scheduled to hit theaters on December 21, 2018.

Jed Whedon Planning for a Fifth Season of Agents of SHIELD

Agents of SHIELD has been on par with its ratings so far, but it’s still not making stellar numbers like it did when it first launched. Currently, the series is contending with the A.I. Aida as the team became part of the framework or alternate reality. With the series returning this month, EP Jed Whedon plans on ending the season with some openness for a fifth season if they get picked up. There’s been no word on a renewal, but Whedon plans on giving the show a season finale that won’t act as a series finale of sorts. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Whedon said, “We are going to make it a thrilling end regardless, but we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.” What are your thoughts on it’s renewal chances?

The Team Fights to Save Reality in Promo for Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 Finale

The Legends faced a devastating blow with one of their teammates killed during the penultimate episode, so the team must fix things, which may end up breaking the one rule of time travel. Next week’s season finale will be epic as the Legends must head back to 1916 to take down the Legion of Doom once and for all. However, they must team up with their past selves to take them out, thus breaking the law of time travel. Check out the promo for the season finale ‘Aruba’ and let us know what you think.
