Ayesha and the Sovereign May Return in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 introduced audiences to the Queen Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) and the Sovereign, who became potential villains after the Guardians betray them. Even though they weren’t the main villains, they did leave a mark that could bring them back for the threequel as the Big Bads. Chatting with IGN, director James Gunn did confirm that he wants to bring Ayesha back, which we know will happen after how the film ended.

I absolutely plan on bringing Elizabeth Debicki back. She’s actually one of my favorite actors I’ve ever worked with. I think on this movie between her, Pom Klementieff who plays Mantis, and Chris Sullivan who plays Taserface, they really were three of the best actors I’ve ever worked with and were all such a joy on this film to deal with that I would love to deal with them again.

So it will be interesting to see how Ayesha and her kingdom will come into the storyline for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. What do you guys think? Do you want to see Ayesha return as the main villain?

Sigourney Weaver’s Alexandra To Have a Connection With All Four Heroes in The Defenders

Sigourney Weaver’s character Alexandra will be the main villain for the upcoming miniseries The Defenders on Netflix, but what will bring all four of our heroes together to fight her? Well, Luke Cage’s Mike Colter seems to know the answer, revealing that she seems to have a connection to him and the rest of the street-level heroes. So what connection will she have with them? Whatever the connection is, Colter says that we can get our answers when all episodes of The Defenders drop in August. Speaking with TV Guide, he said:

The villains that we’re dealing with are a combination of several entities, um, and they all have something to do with our separate stories that have played out in each of our own individual series.  So this has been going on for a while. It wasn’t obvious in each individual series, but in this series you’ll find out that the things that happened to all of us basically were all because of one entity and that’s what’s gonna kind of tie things together and then we’ll see that, we’ll understand that, and before you know it, eventually we’ll fight together… or not.

The Defenders will release on Netflix on August 18 with all eight episodes.

Mon-El May Possibly Suit Up in Supergirl’s Third Season

Mon-El (Chris Wood) had a big role during the current season of Supergirl, however, we haven’t seen him suit up like the comics. Well, EP Andrew Kreisberg recently revealed that he might suit up sooner than you think. Speaking with TVLine, Kreisberg explained that it will happen soon. “I can’t say right now,” he teased, “But I wouldn’t be surprised if one day you got to see that.” So it could happen in season three, but nothing has been set in stone yet. Having Mon-El get a suit makes sense since he has already developed into a hero alongside Kara. What do you think?

Gotham Light the Wick Promo

During this week’s upcoming episode of Gotham, James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) makes his move on the Court of Owls as he demands a seat at the table. Meanwhile, Bruce (David Mazouz) takes another step into becoming the Dark Knight as he learns what the Court has planned for him. We also see the return of Nathaniel Barnes (Michael Chiklis) and Hugo Strange (BD Wong) as they begin their descent upon Gotham. After being threatened by Penguin never to return, what will cause Hugo Strange to come back? See the promo and let us know what you think of the new episode.

Agents of SHIELD Worlds End Promo

In the season finale of Agents of SHIELD, we see the return of Gabriel Luna who reprises his role as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider. With AIDA on the loose wreaking havoc on the team and the rest of the world, SHIELD must now take down the AI. Giving them a helping hand is Robbie Reyes as he sets his vengeance on the killing machine. With the show coming back for another season, we can expect some conclusion to the AIDA storyline while getting some clues as to what the fifth season will entail. Team Arrow may have won the fight against Prometheus (Josh Segarra), but the war isn’t far from done yet. During this week’s episode, Prometheus has something really big planned for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). Even though Adrian Chase is behind bars, he still has one more surprise in store for the Emerald Archer. The preview for this week’s episode ‘Missing’ reveals that Chase will be working with Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) to take down Team Arrow. It may be Oliver’s birthday coming up, but Adrian is ruining his day by picking up his friends one by one. Can Oliver stop Adrian before his friends get killed?
