Arrow/The Flash Spinoff

Andrew Kreisberg Reveals Some Details on Arrow/Flash Spinoff. Ever since hearing about the new Arrow/Flash spinoff, fans have been waiting for more details about it. Well, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shed some light on this new “mega-series” as he would like to call it.

Speaking with Green Arrow TV, Andrew Kreisberg spoke about the new show, promising that everything will be answered during the spring, including Sara’s (Caity Lotz) return. “I think by the spring, you’ll know,” he teased. He also added:

We want to keep some surprises going, but we’re really excited about that series…. just to add another leg to the tripod, and complete it. We’ll get to see some of the characters that we’ve seen and introduce a whole bunch of new characters, and show them all in a different way, and have the show really feel different. As different as Flash feels from Arrow, this new show will feel different from both of them.

So it looks like we are getting a different show than Arrow and The Flash, but what will it be called? It’s still very unclear whether the focus will be on one character or an ever-changing team of heroes and villains coming every week. “It’s still very early in the process on that. We had to make sure to get as much of the cast set as we could before we sat down to break this mega-series with all of these characters, rather than be do that and have people say they’re not interested.”

The only cast members for certain returing for the new series besides Caity Lotz includes Brandon Routh (The Atom), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein), and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold). There will also be three new characters being added to the show with no casting made as of yet with the show premiering sometime next year.

So what do you guys think of this?
