Antichrist Movie Trailers have been out for some time. Now the U.S. Trailer for Anitchrist is available for viewing. Antichrist is directed by Lars von Trier and stars Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafeo.  Antichrist plot synopsis: “A grieving couple retreats to their cabin in the woods, hoping to repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse.”  There is a lot more to Antichrist than this simple plot synopsis alludes to.  I was not going to post the Antichrist movie trailers because I thought the film looked derivative but after watching half the film (don’t ask), I have to say it is one of the best dramas/horror films I have seen this year, both acting and visuals wise. The trailer deserves to be posted everywhere for no other reason than to raise awareness about this raw film. This is not the right place to talk about the acting in Antichrist. I will do so in my Antichrist Film Review but the performances are as great as those found in the latter half of Funny Games (1997). It’s real, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe dig deep. Check out the US Trailer for Antichrist below (along with the others) and leave your thoughts below.
