Beauty and the Beast Final Trailer, IMAX, and Opening Night Events

The third and final U.S. trailer, IMAX, and opening night events have been released for Beauty and the Beast (2017). The third and final trailer for this film gives the viewer the overarching storyline, basically a synopsis of the whole film. Almost a highlight reel except for the key moments that are being left for the theater. There is a gaggle of new footage, particular of Beast / Prince Adam (Dan Stevens) and Belle (Emma Watson) interacting before and after a wolf attack and of Gaston (Luke Evans) admiring himself in the mirror (it’s pretty funny). The title song is also performed in this trailer.

During Beauty and the Beast regular theatrical release on March 17, 2016, the film will be presented in a 1.9:1 aspect ratio (26% more of the film will be viewable) in IMAX theaters.

Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Beauty and the Beast‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, “Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.”

Bill Condon‘s Beauty and the Beast also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Hattie Morahan, Sonoya Mizuno, Audra McDonald, Henry Garrett, and Adrian Schiller.
