Those damn Basterds were triumphant. Inglourious Basterds premiered at the box office in the Number One spot with $37.6 Million. District 9 was Second with $18.9 Million for $73.4 Million so far. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was Third with $12.5 Million for $120.5 Million so far. The Time Traveler’s Wife was Fourth with $10 Million. Julie & Julia was Fifth with $9 Million. Shorts (which premiered this weekend), G-Force, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Ugly Truth, and Post Grad (which premiered this weekend) rounded out the top ten respectively.
