Netflix has released the second TV show trailer for Season 3 of Daredevil. Everyone wondered who the man in the daredevil costume was who possessed an extremely similar skill set to Matt Murdock / Daredevil (Charlie Cox) in the first Daredevil: Season 3 trailer. It seems that person is none other than FBI Agent Benjamin Poindexter (Wilson Bethel), the person also known as super-villain Bullseye. That explains the Agent Poindexter’s accuracy with weapons.

What is good about this trailer is that it gives the backstory of the villain. Poindexter is not empty robot programmed to do bad things because Daredevil‘s narrative needs him to. Instead, Poindexter is a flawed human being.

Daredevil season 3’s plot synopsis (spoilers): based on the Born Again comic book arc by Frank Miller, “Wilson Fisk is back as the main foe against Matt Murdock’s Daredevil…The comic book arc follows the revelation of Daredevil’s secret identity after Karen Page sells the knowledge to his enemies, which Kingpin then uses to destroy Matt’s life. But Matt is saved by the mysterious Sister Maggie, who is revealed to be Matt’s long-lost mother.”

Daredevil: Season 3 stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jay Ali, Lesley Ann Warren, Amy Rutberg, Danny Johnson, Annabella Sciorra, and Joanne Whalley.
