DEAD AWAKE (2015) Movie Image: Jocelyn Donahue Uncovers Ancient Evil

Dead Awake Movie Image

Dead Awake Movie Image Has Been Released. Phillip Guzman‘s Dead Awake (2015) wraps principal photography this very week in San Antonio, Texas, and we’ve been given a movie still to wrap our heads around this movie. Of course, the image offers very little to ponder, but the great thing is that it reinforces the fact that Jocelin Donahue is in another horror film we get to see.

For those of you in the dark, Donahue was the perfectly cast, wonderfully girlish, sweet, beautiful student in Ti West‘s The House of The Devil, which is my favourite horror movie of the past few years. She displayed an incredible amount of talent in that film, and it’s great to know she’s working steadily, and isn’t shying away from starring in any more horror films.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, “Donahue stars a young woman who, while investigating the death of someone close to her, jeopardizes the lives of her family and friends when she uncovers an ancient evil stalking its victims through the real-life phenomenon of sleep paralysis.

‘It’s exciting to work with these passionate filmmakers and play the roles of Beth and Kate, twins who share a deep connection through a terrifying ordeal,’ Donahue tells Bloody Disgusting. ‘This script is unpredictable and bone-chilling, and its real-world subject is perfect for a horror film.’

‘As a former sufferer of sleep paralysis, this project struck a special chord with me,’ Bradford stated. ‘I’ve experienced firsthand how frightening and how very real this phenomenon is.'”

Well, I’ll gladly give this a shot. Take a look at the image and get ready for another potentially disturbing performance by Jocelin Donahue.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
