DEADPOOL (2016): Colossus Will Have Good Amount of Screen Time

Colossus Deadpool Trailer

Deadpool Will Have Enough Screen Time for Colossus. Even though we only saw a little of Colossus during the Deadpool trailer, we may actually see more of him on screen once the film comes out. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld confirmed Colossus’ bigger presence in Deadpool.

Talking at the Amazing Hawaii Comic Con this weekend, Rob Liefeld assured fans that Colossus (played by Andre Tricoteux) would get more screen time other than that one battle scene shown in the trailer. “You guys have seen a glimpse of him in the trailer; at San Diego in Hall H, they showed a little bit more of Colossus,” Liefeld taunted, admiring the CG and saying it was the best that the character had ever looked onscreen. “…You are going to love Colossus in Deadpool. He’s in it a good amount; he doesn’t just walk through the movie.”

That is really good to know, considering that Colossus never appeared a lot in the X-Men film series, so at least we will be seeing more of the metallic brute alongside Deadpool in more than just one scene.

Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool will release in theaters February 12, 2016.
