THE FLASH: Andrew Kreisberg Teases Zoom’s Return [The CW]

Black Flash

Zoom May Possibly Return as Black Flash on The Flash. Zoom became one of the most villainous characters we’ve seen so far on The Flash, but it remained to be seen if he was going to return. However, EP Andrew Kreisberg thinks we haven’t seen the last of Hunter Zolomon.

When we last saw Zoom, he was transformed into the undead Black Flash in the season finale. Andrew Kreisberg teased to EW about possibly bringing back Teddy Sears to reprise his role as the speed demon. “Obviously we did that on purpose,” he said of Zoom’s shocking makeover. “We love working with Teddy [Sears]. He’s such an amazing actor and amazing person, and was so much a part of the success of this show last season. There aren’t any immediate plans for that, but you can’t keep a good Black Flash down, so I’m sure we’ll be seeing him in the future.”

For now, it looks like Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be occupied with Dr. Alchemy and Savitar in the new season while dealing with the ramifications of altering the timeline to start Flashpoint. But, it sounds like the door is open for the villain to come back some day. What do you guys think?
