The Gambler‘s plot synopsis: “a remake of the 1974 film of the same name, sees Wahlberg as a [literature] professor who’s hiding an increasingly out of control gambling addiction from his mom (Jessica Lange) and his girlfriend (Brie Larson), not to mention his students and myriad other people a college professor has to answer to.”

The Gambler also stars Mark Wahlberg, Anne McDaniels, Sonya Walger, Erika Jordan, George Kennedy, Caitlin O’Connor, Leland Orser, Richard Schiff, Jacob Bertrand, Emory Cohen, and Steve Park.
