GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014): New Poster Images, TV Teaser Trailer

New posters & first TV trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy. Writer/director James Gunn had already left word of the pair of TV trailers for Guardians of the Galaxy, running at 30 and 60 seconds, respectively, airing during the kick-off game of the 2014 NBA finals. The 30 second spot had already been released online, by then, and provided the first good look (glimpse, really) at the character of Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace).

To really get the roll-out rolling, however, the Guardians people have also been graced by a series of posters. With tributes to iconic Silver Age poster images (go on, guess what famous film poster the first submission was based on), these aren’t just posters, they are works of pop art. They come courtesy of the Poster Posse, an international artist collective with a penchant for creating multiple artwork inspired by singular films; their Project #9 having been devoted entirely to Guardians of the Galaxy.
