I am not a Rebel Wilson fan. I find her schtick fairly annoying. She’s fat, she has an accent, she drinks alcohol – how incredibly hilarious! And golly, she imitates Gandalf at the end of this trailer! Isn’t that funny? And what about a reference to Cast Away (2000). What a funny lady! Yay!

But if comedies about four (insert gender here) in the big city, facing the non-issue of (insert non-issue here) while partying (in fake, closed off sets) and working at (far too easy) jobs that provide them with far too lavish apartments to be realistic is your thing, then this looks like the movie for you! It’ll be so fun! Yay!

According to FirstShowing, “Warner Bros has debuted the first official trailer for the comedy How to Be Single, playing next February for all the lonely single souls out there (or couples who just want to laugh at the singles). Rebel Wilson stars as a wild young woman in New York City who teachers her friend Alice, played by Dakota Johnson of 50 Shades of Grey fame (so doesn’t she already know all this stuff?), how to hook up and mingle with men the right way. The cast includes Leslie Mann, Jake Lacy, Anders Holm, Alison Brie, Damon Wayans Jr., Nicholas Braun. This is mostly for the ladies, but have fun anyway.”
