Inglourious Basterds Poster

I adore most if not all of Quentin Tarantino movies, especially Kill Bill and True Romance (he wrote the script). I believe Tarantino has wanted to do a war movie for a long time and had been pondering Inglourious Basterds. The cast line-up for Inglourious Basterds is stellar: Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Melanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz, Daniel Bruhl, Eli Roth, Samm Levine, B.J. Novak, Til Schweiger, Gedeon Burkhard, Paul Rust, Michael Bacall, Omar Doom, Sylvester Groth, Julie Dreyfus, Jacky Ido, August Diehl, Martin Wuttke, Richard Sammel, Christian Berkel, Sonke Mohring, Michael Fassbender, Mike Myers, Rod Taylor, Denis Menochet, Cloris Leachman, Maggie Cheung and Samuel L. Jackson. Now that the film is in production, the first poster for the film has popped up online. The synopsis of Inglourious Basterds from Wikipedia: “Two story lines… converge: One follows a group of prisoners-turned-soldiers whose mission is to take down a group of Nazis, and the other follows a young Jewish woman who seeks to avenge the death of her parents by this Nazi group.” The film will be divided into five chapters:

  • Chapter One: Once a Time… Nazi Occupied France
  • Chapter Two: Inglorious Bastards
  • Chapter Four: Operation Kino
  • Chapter Five: Revenge of the Giant Face
