The official cast members, plot synopsis, filming location, released date for the twenty-fifth James Bond film have been released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Production on the film will begin on April 28, 2019 and part of the film will be shot with IMAX cameras (a first for the film franchise).

James Bond 25‘s plot synopsis: “Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. Â His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
The film will open with Bond not in active service and lounging in an ‘extraordinary house’ in Jamaica.

James Bond 25 stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright,  Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik, Lashanna Lynch, and Rami Malek.
James Bond 25 will be directed by Cary Fukanaga.
John Hodge developed the original script for James Bond 25 that was later reworked by Robert Wade and Neal Purvis. Scott Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge have been brought on to rewrite that script with the former hired to refine the film’s humor.
