KINGSMAN: Marv Group is Planning Around Seven More Films & a TV series in the Espionage Universe

The Kingsman Universe will Expand into New Films and a TV Series

The Kingsman film franchise will not be stopping with The King’s Man prequel film due in theaters in February 2021. A Kingsman universe is in the works, encompassing numerous films, seven additional films to be exact, and a TV series. This comes straight from Marv Group CEO Zygi Kamasa, who recently spoke about his plans for Marv Group’s most lucrative property at the Winston Baker UK Finance Summit. The Kingsman film franchise, so far, has made $825.2 Million world-wide.

Marv Group CEO Kamasa went on to say “We want to grow the business and the output….We have a Kingsman TV series in the works and there are two-three other franchises that are being developed alongside the Kingsman world.”

The next Kingsman film is entitled Kingsman: The Blue Blood and is currently in pre-production. It’s producers are Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman. “Colin Firth and Taron Egerton will both reprise their roles from previous films” in the film.

There is also a United States-based film in the film franchise centered on the American characters from Kingsman: The Golden Circle in the works. It is currently titled Statesman. If the film moves forward, “Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry would reprise their roles in the film.”

Regarding the Kingsman TV series, there is no word on its characters, plotline (one can assume it has something to do with espionage), when the TV series will go into production, or where the TV series will air. With the built-in name recognition (and hopefully burn-out doesn’t occur), a Kingsman TV series should be an easy sell in the television show marketplace.
