Damien Chazelle‘s La La Land (2016) teaser trailer stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, J.K. Simmons, Finn Wittrock, and Sonoya Mizuno. La La Land‘s plot synopsis: “the film tells the story of Mia (Stone), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.”

I’m not a fan of musicals but this film appears to be on the high-end of the spectrum.

La La Land also stars Sandra Rosko, Rosemarie DeWitt, Christopher Aber, Callie Hernandez, John Legend, Candice Coke, Josh Pence, Jessica Rothe, Meagen Fay, and Ashley Caple.
