Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Beau Knapp, Valorie Curry, and Eddie Izzard have been cast in NBCs Langdon.

Montano has been cast as Sato, “Director of the OS.”

Gonzalez has been cast as Nunez, “a uniformed Capitol policeman.”

Knapp has been cast as Mal’akh, “who takes Langdon on a dangerous and arcane mission.”

Curry has been cast as Katherine, “a scientist who studies how consciousness can affect the physical world.”

Izzard has been cast as Peter, “the Director of the Smithsonian and an influential mover and shaker in Washington, D.C.”

These actors and actresses join already cast Ashley Zukerman.

Plot Synopsis

Langdon‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Dan Brown, “Langdon follows the early adventures of famed Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Zukerman), who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a chilling global conspiracy.”

The Lost Symbol is the third Brown novel featuring the character of Langdon, following Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code, and is set after the events of Da Vinci Code.

Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie wrote the screenplay for the pilot episode.
