LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: First Look at Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen [The CW]

Maisie Richardson-Sellers Vixen Legends of Tomorrow

First Image of Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen on Legends of Tomorrow. We finally have our first look at one of the members of the JSA from Legends of Tomorrow as The CW revealed an image of Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe AKA Vixen.

In this interaction of the character, Amaya is Mari McCabe’s grandmother who took the mantle of Vixen in the 1940s. Mari McCabe was previously played by Megalyn Echikunwoke in the web series Vixen and made her live-action debut on Arrow. Megalyn was originally chosen to reprise her role as the character on Legends of Tomorrow, but due to other commitments, the showrunners decided to introduce another version of the character as one of Mari’s ancestors. Amaya was the previous wielder of the Tantu Totem, an ancient artifact that allows her to tap into the abilities of any animal.

Despite not showing up on Legends of Tomorrow, Megalyn didn’t rule out the possibility of appearing on the show as a guest star. With the nature of time travel, it would be cool to see both McCabe and Jiwe meet. What do you guys think?
